It seems they saved some money on the graphic design, which copies the atheist banner in appearance, with some necessary changes to the wording, of course. Although I'm afraid you can't make it out in my photo, the additional print at the lower-right side of the banner adds a new twist that wasn't present in the atheist ad. In medium-sized print, the first line reads, "Text AMEN to 60999" and then the font gets substantially smaller as the text continues, "to subscribe as a registered supporter. This is a subscription service and will cost £1.50 per month plus your standard network rate. You may quit at any time by texting STOP to 60999. Billing support 08701 994741." The use of the word "definitely" to rebuke the atheists' use of "probably" and the fact that texting your support doesn't just incur a one-time fee, but an ongoing subscription fee that is difficult to read as buses whizz past (while "Text AMEN to 60999" is easy to read) makes the advert seem both desperate and money-grubbing. Is that really the image that the Christian Party wants to project?
