Rush Hour

This sculpture is called Rush Hour,

and that's pretty much what it's like in rush-hour London--crowds of people with expressionless faces and eyes cast down. (Rule number one: make no eye contact, ever!) We always get used to it after a while, but every time we get out of London for any length of time, we remember that such a demeanour isn't actually the norm . . . .
