We went to a free play reading this evening at the
Japan Foundation, walking through this lovely greenspace on our way through Bloomsbury to get to the venue:

The English translation of Shigefumi Fukatsu's
Uchiya Matsuri was read by thirteen London actors who did a wonderful job of conveying the nuances of the script. While I didn't take any photos of the reading, in a tangential way the above photo is still relevant to the play, which takes place overlooking a vacant piece of land known by the residents of the surrounding apartment complex as Mr Koyama's garden. Hopefully the greenspace above doesn't have as many dark secrets as the garden in the play!
