I've complained before on these pages about Tesco's inane slogan, "Every little helps," and Bob noticed today that a neighbourhood shop has appropriated the saying for themselves, inserting the much-needed noun that grammar-challenged Tesco leaves out, and spinning the meaning of "little" in the process:
