Bears in Barnes

A friend of Bob's was having some people over this afternoon, so we headed way west to Barnes to drop by, only to arrive a bit too late and find no one at home! All was not lost, however; not only were we able to meet up later on, but today was the Barnes village fête and since the festivities took place just up the road, we headed over to check out the offerings. Compared with similar events in other London neighbourhoods, the Barnes event was pretty great, with plenty of interesting stalls, entertainment, and affordable food options (something that many village fêtes lack), making for a lovely summer atmosphere.
