Money Talks

My money spoke to me today, and not in the usual way that people mean:
While the fleur-de-lis first caught my eye (it was strange to see a symbol I immediately associate with France on a British coin), I was additionally intrigued by being issued an imperative by a fifty-pence piece--something that doesn't happen every day. It turns out that this coin commemorates 100 years of the Scout Movement, of which the fleur-de-lis is one symbol and "Be prepared" is one motto. Money mystery solved!
