Not Exactly Swimming Weather

I don't think I've seen the Trafalgar Square fountains with ice in them before:

It's still very, very cold in London, and I'm trying to cheer myself up with the positive side of things: at least this year's hay-fever season will likely be an easier one for allergy sufferers like me after all this cold, right? Brrrr . . . .
