Danger Is His Middle Name

Bob and I were down by Somerset House and decided to cut across the expansive courtyard. The skating rink is long gone, and the summer fountains are back:
The numerous jets change force and height without warning, and are a favourite place for kids to cool off in the heat of summer. The weather's cooled down quite a bit in London since last week's heat wave, so the fountains were deserted this afternoon, except for a lone man who slowly walked through them, narrowly escaping their full force as the jets exploded just as he made it across:
"I would have gotten a bit wet, huh?" Bob said, perhaps giving you a clue as to the identity of the crazy man in question . . . .
