The Notwist

We met at Foyles this afternoon for a bit of book browsing and a coffee, and when I visited the loo before we left, I discovered that someone had added a word to the sign on the washroom door:

We wandered around for a while before heading up to University College London for yet another November concert that we've been eagerly anticipating. Tonight was our first time seeing The Notwist, and they put on a fantastic, energetic show that managed to transcend the rather ho-hum venue.

Novelty points went to the keyboardist, who used Wii controllers to, well, play something during several songs--just what, we weren't sure, but he looked like he was having a good time! Although we weren't that thrilled with the venue, at least it was a short bus ride from home, which meant that after the show was finished, we were soon snuggled in our living room with hot beverages and blankets to ward off the growing November chill.
