Springfield Park

Although Bob's been before, I hadn't yet been to Springfield Park, even though it's relatively close to home, so we decided to wander over that way today. It's a beautiful, quiet place, with a nice mixture of manicured fields

and ramshackle grassy areas

that border on the River Lea.

We watched the houseboats

and the swans

before heading up to the charming park café to enjoy some delicious coffee to sustain us for the walk home.
