Part Three of the Adventure . . .

When we moved to London back in December 2006, we thought we'd try it just for a year. "Bye everyone," we said, "See you in a year!" A year came and went and then another year too. Just like that. Plans change. And then they change again. Now we find ourselves leaving London, and all the irritating quirks of this crazy place rather predictably seem endearing and we're experiencing some of that same "just what are we doing and why?" feeling that we had when we left Vancouver. Stoke Newington waved goodbye to us the other day
and even though we do indeed heart Stokey,we'll soon be calling ourselves Vancouverites once again, eating delicious sushi and enjoying the beauty of Vancouver's oceanside locale. Ah, but not that soon, because before we board our one-way flight back to Canada, we're going to spend the next two months seeing more of Europe in addition to returning to a few of our favourite places. I should actually go and finish up the last of our packing because it's almost midnight as I type this and we're off on the first Eurostar to Paris at 5ish tomorrow morning. We're only stopping in Paris to catch another train though, and the first night of our strange and exciting existence without a permanent address will be in a city that many of you will have in your fridge:

Good for you and good luck!

Kev says: "Right in the heart of the Bourgogne region -- ah, the Pinot Noir they could be having…!" and says hi and enjoy yourselves, to boot. We envy you for the mustards and other edibles you will consume.

See you in two months!
