Craftacular

The first weekend in December is prime craft-sale time, and we dropped in on one this afternoon that was put on my Bust magazine ("the magazine for women with something to get off their chests"). The knitting DJs dressed in their vintage best kinda sums up the event:
This was Bust's first Craftacular in London, and the room was completely packed--which made any real shopping difficult!
I liked the idea of a craft surgery, but, as with most of the booths, it was tough to get close enough to fully appreciate the wares.
The Craftacular was held in a tiny, rather dank members' club, where bands were scheduled for later in the evening. We were there too early to catch the bands, but the bar section of the venue was still filled with people drinking, and, yes, knitting!
Near Angel station, some nice Christmas trees lined the market street, and I wished we were going to be around at Christmas so we'd have a reason to buy one . . . .
